Effective direction tracking
The detector determines direction of moving object by calculating its trajectory. Detector triggers, when direction of moving object matches with one of the specified directions. The detector can be used for many applications where movement direction must be detected. For example, the detector can be used for applications where people or vehicles at certain time periods should move in one specific direction.
For road traffic monitoring, the detector can determine cars moving on the opposite lane. You can configure automatic response to an event, for example, the system can activate recording of video and audio signal from the camera for traffic violation evidence. Also, the detector can be used in the same manner for public events, when it is necessary to manage movement of many people in predetermined directions.
Configure movement direction
You can select movement direction in detector settings. The detector triggers, when direction of moving object matches with one of the specified directions. Movement direction can be selected using sectors in a special circle.
You can configure automatic response to an event, for example, the system can activate recording of video and audio signal from the camera, send SMS message or e-mail, add record to video archive, launch application, produce audio alarm, generate report, send command to the actuating device or assign other event-based actions.
It detects and highlights an object within camera field of view that moves in a specified direction.
Detection zones of any shape and size
In most cases there is no need to detect motion within the entire field of view of the camera. You can simply select detection zones in different areas of the camera image. To optimize the motion detection, you can configure “exception areas” where movement detection is not needed.
For each zone you can select individual motion detection settings. You can select proportions and size of the object in the zone settings, and the system will detect moving object if that corresponds to specified aspect ratio or size.
