Data recording and secure storage
For secure data recording and storage, VideoNet incorporates STORAGE™ technology, developed by our company. It ensures high-speed archive management. Also, it offers high performance and minimizes risk of archive corruption due to incorrect finishing of work.
With high performance STORAGE™ technology you can quickly find necessary information for analysis and conflict resolving. When long-term storage of the valuable data is needed, you can manually add archives to external storage media or configure scheduled backups using convenient user interface. To protect data in case of stolen archive or unauthorized access, you can use additional encryption of the archive with a unique code to prevent from viewing the archive.
Video archive management
VideoNet allows to configure video archive storage period depending on data priority and importance. Also, the system can create archives when a specific event occurs, alarm and pre-recording archives.
By configuring video archive settings you can significantly reduce expenses associated with data storage, the most expensive part of the video surveillance system. Also, it ensures reliable data storage and enables to quickly find the necessary information.

Highly effective video record
STORAGE™ delivers a secure data storage, high-speed data access and supports maximum rates of the storage media.
VideoNet recording system offers:
- high speed access to large archives (hundreds of GB, or TB);
- configurable storage period for archives;
- user-defined storage location for (disk, folder, etc) depending on type, time or source;
- pre-recording capability for recording events occurred a certain time before the alarm event;
- large data transfer from one server to another;
- storage device swapping without system shutdown.
VideoNet enables to adapt video and audio archives depending on PC hardware platform by optimizing VideoNet configuration for faster data recording to PC disks.
Scheduled archives
VideoNet system can automatically archive records based on a schedule, or operator can add archives manually from the media player. For automatic archiving you can select corresponding settings and add “Start archive” action to schedule.
For archive, you can configure source (camera, microphone), record type (alarm, continuous etc), time interval. Archive progress can be controlled by progress bar.
Fast data search
Video archive records also includes metadata – special service data, describing potential alarm events occurred within field of view of the camera, object size and proportions, movement trajectory, speed, object color, etc. Metadata are synchronized with the video archive and allow to significantly save time when searching for the necessary data.
Quickly find an event of interest by the specified search criteria using:
- fast search across video archive;
- fast jump to the selected record from the Event Log;
- record type filters: alarm, scheduled or user;
- intelligent multi-factor analysis of archived records;
- complex scenarios;
- user tags for video segments;
- data summary analysis from all subsystems.
